SP: How many autograph requests do you normally get in a day?

Rick: I probably receive around 10 requests a week through the mail.

SP: What was your favorite sports athlete/role model as a youth?

Rick: Willie Mays.... That is why I wore #24

SP: Who were your favorite teammates in your career?

Rick: Nate Thurmond, Al Attles, Clyde Lee, Tom Meschery and all of the championship team members, especially Cliff Ray and Jeff Mullins.

SP: Do you see any players in the NBA today that have a style of play similar to you in your prime as an athlete?

Rick: They have way more physical talents, but don't understand the game the way I did. I can't pick out a player.

Rick: No favorite... I have many whose music I enjoy.

Rick: Same for the Bible.... Too many good lessons to only choose one.
